Service Description
Our Beginner's Rifle/Carbine Course is designed to build a strong foundation for new shooters and those looking to refine their understanding of carbine operation. This course focuses on static drills and minimal movement exercises to help participants develop comfort and control with their weapon system. You’ll explore a variety of firing positions and learn techniques to improve your follow-up shots, ensuring consistent accuracy. In addition, we’ll introduce you to practical options for optimizing your weapon manipulation, from equipment choices to handling techniques tailored to your needs. This is a hands-on, engaging experience that emphasizes safety, precision, and confidence. Whether you’re new to carbines or seeking to enhance your basic skills, this course provides the perfect environment to start your journey toward mastering the platform. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: - Basic fundamentals of shooting rifle/carbines - Introduction of shooting from different platforms and/or control through tactical positioning - Load/Unload, and different Reload procedures - Essential movements that act as the stepping stones for advanced techniques - And much much more… WHAT to BRING: - A reliable rifle/carbine (any size barrel) - At least 450 rounds of ammunition - At least 3 magazines and pockets or magazine holster to hold one (plate carry or chest rig is fine) - Eye & Ear protection MANDATORY - Sling for your particular weapon (single, 2-, or 3-point sling) - Sights (irons or optics) - Closed-toe shoes and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing - A meal (depending on time of day) LOCATION & TIME: - Hollidaysburg Consolidated Sportsmen's Association - Duration: 4 - 6 hours, depending on your individual progression - (Date & Time) This will be based on your timeline and the ranges availability
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy ("Default Policy") We understand that schedules change and emergencies happen. In fairness to all clients and to protect the integrity of our training calendar, the following policy applies to all course bookings: Cancellations and Reschedules If you need to cancel or reschedule your course, you must contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations or changes made more than 48 hours in advance will be accommodated at no additional cost. Late Cancellations and No-Shows Cancellations made within 48 hours of your reschedule course start time, or failure to attend (no-show), will result in being charged 100% of the course fee. This policy reflects the time and preparation dedicated to each student and the limited number of training slots available. By booking a course, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Default Policy.
