Service Description
Our Pistol: Foundational (FREE Course) is designed to teach you the essentials of pistol defense and handling in a focused, structured manner. Whether you’re new to firearms or looking to reinforce your foundational skills, this course will set you up for success. We believe that mastering the basics is critical before progressing to more advanced training. The course takes place at Hollidaysburg Consolidated Sportsmen's Association, a controlled, safe environment ideal for learning proper techniques. With no more than 2 students on the range at one time, it will be customized to your skill level and needs, lasting anywhere from 1 to 4 hours, depending on your pace and proficiency. Our expert instructor will guide you step by step through essential pistol handling, safety measures, stance, grip, and accurate shooting techniques, ensuring that you leave with the confidence to effectively and safely operate your pistol. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: - Firearm safety and best practices - Correct stance, grip, and posture - Loading and unloading procedures - Proper sight alignment and trigger control - How to handle malfunctions or misfires - Basic marksmanship and accuracy WHAT to BRING: - A reliable pistol you are comfortable with - At least 150 - 200 rounds of ammunition - Eye & Ear protection MANDATORY (I do possess extra) - A sturdy belt and holster - Closed-toe shoes and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing LOCATION & TIME: - Hollidaysburg Consolidated Sportsmen's Association - Duration: 1 - 4 hours, depending on your individual progression - (Date & Time) This will be based on your timeline and the ranges availability Join us for this opportunity to build a strong foundation, whether you’re preparing for personal defense or simply want to become more confident in your firearm handling.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy ("Default Policy") We understand that schedules change and emergencies happen. In fairness to all clients and to protect the integrity of our training calendar, the following policy applies to all course bookings: Cancellations and Reschedules If you need to cancel or reschedule your course, you must contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations or changes made more than 48 hours in advance will be accommodated at no additional cost. Late Cancellations and No-Shows Cancellations made within 48 hours of your reschedule course start time, or failure to attend (no-show), will result in being charged 100% of the course fee. This policy reflects the time and preparation dedicated to each student and the limited number of training slots available. By booking a course, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Default Policy.
